This was fascinating! I certainly had never heard this explanation of Lincoln Park, although I have been there many times, as I used to live in the Eastern Panhandle of WV and would come to DC whenever I could. I loved how Dan spoke in depth about the difference of opinion between the public of 1867 and that of today. I also really enjoyed hearing about the two sculptors and their personal styles reflecting the times in which they lived. I’ve listened to all of Dan’s podcasts and find him to be intelligent & creative with a style all his own! I look forward to more interesting podcasts from him & hope I’ll be able to catch a tour with him the next time I’m visiting D.C. Thank you D.C. Tours on Foot, for this wonderful series! You are all to be commended! -Bettina Ortiz, Broadview Hts., OH
